INGEN clono a estos animales en secreto y los tenía en cuarentena debido a su mordida venenosa, inteligencia y ferocidad. Sin embargo tras el colapso del Parque antes de su apertura en 1993 fueron liberados, convirtiendoseen los depredadores de pequeño tamaño más temidos de toda la fauna de la Isla Nublar. Intimidando incluso a los Velociraptores.

However, after the collapse of the Park before its opening in 1993, they were released, becoming the most feared small predators of all the fauna of Isla Nublar. Intimidating even Velociraptors.
